NEWRY — In collaboration with OutRyders and the DownEast Pride Alliance, Sunday River Ski Resort will host White Out Weekend, Feb. 9-12 for three days dedicated to the gay and lesbian community.
WOW weekend features “drag” races where skiers and riders can showcase their divine skiing selves, apres get-togethers, spa treatments with complimentary wine, a Studio 54 soiree and a White Out (blacklight) Party at the Peak Lodge with Provincetown’s DJ MaryAlice.
Other activities over the weekend include First Tracks, an early-morning corduroy run before lifts open to the public for those who reserve a spot in advance, 12-hour skiing/riding on Friday and Saturday, zipline tours and fireworks.
