Children used chalk, water, cotton swabs and construction paper to create artwork during Beyond Finger Paint, a toddler art group for children ages 1 to 3. Krista Lord, a library assistant, created the program to offer children and their parents a creative opportunity to take kids beyond crayons and finger paint. Beyond Finger Paint is held Fridays from 1 to 2 p.m. until March 9.
