GREENE — Write-in candidate Ronald Nadeau won a three-year term as a director of SAD 52 in Friday’s election.
Nadeau, who has served previous terms on the school board, defeated incumbent Barbara Dupuis, 46-34. Dupuis had served two terms on the board.
Kevin S. Mower won re-election to a three-year term on the Board of Selectman with 76 votes. Mower, who has held the seat since the mid-1980s, was unopposed.
“There was a good turnout” at the Town Office for voting, said Deputy Town Clerk Sally Hebert. She said the total count of 84 votes was comparable to recent years.
The Greene town meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 3, in the Greene Central School gymnasium.
