RUMFORD — The Rumford Seniors Board and membership meetings are held every fourth Wednesday of the month. Board meetings are at 9 a.m. and membership meetings are at 10 a.m. Both are held at the Senior Center. A drawing will be held at the membership meeting for services or products offered from a local business. Attendance is required.
Membership dues for 2012 are now due.
Bingo games will now be held on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
A St. Patrick’s Day party will take place on Tuesday, March 13, at the Beacon Resort in Lincoln, N.H. A luncheon of corned beef and cabbage, baked chicken, red potatoes, boiled onions, carrots and paste will be served. An Irish show will take place after lunch. The cost is $50. A $10 deposit is required to guarantee reservations.
A trip to the Bangor Slots is planned for March 22. A sign up sheet is at the center.
Another trip is planned for April 17 to Town & Country in Gorham, N.H. The trip includes a choice of chicken, salmon or prime rib dinner and a show. The cost is $40.
A meal is being planned for April 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the center. The cost is $6. The deadline for sign up is April 18.
There is still room for the Washington, D.C., trip from April 26 to May 1. The cost is $459 with $75 due at sign up. For more information, call Anna at 364-3164 or the Senior Center at 364-4700.
Craft classes are being offered once per month. If there is something you would like to learn or make, call the center to request that class.
