WILTON — Teachers Lounge Mafia invites you to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day Eve with an evening of mature-rated, improv comedy at Calzolaio Pasta Company.
Performing games much like those on TV’s “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?” as well as their own original bits, Teachers Lounge Mafia relies heavily on audience participation. No two shows are alike because troupe members have no idea what audiences will suggest and what they will say and act out in response. Their goal is always the same, however — laughs.
Teachers Lounge Mafia performs throughout New England and recently appeared as part of ImprovBoston’s Studio 40 lineup. Locally, they took the stage with the University of Maine at Farmington’s Lawn Chair Pirates, Mt. Blue’s Curtain Raisers and Rhode Island’s BoomScones in a four-team improv comedy battle.
The Friday, March 16, show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5; seating is limited. Beverage and food menus available. For reservations, call 645-9500 or email teachersloungemafiaimprov@gmail.com.
