LIVERMORE FALLS – A Fayette man was hired Tuesday to be the Livermore Falls Sewer Treatment Plant assistant, Town Manager Kristal Flagg said.

Harold “Todd” Owens will be paid $13.48 an hour to work full time. He will begin his duties Monday.

Owens has worked for the town through Manpower, a temporary employment service, since January.

He fills the position held by Nels Hawkins who left last year to take another job.
