SUMNER — The Hartford-Sumner Elementary School is sponsoring a Spring Fever Reliever on March 16 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Participants will be able to dance to jigs and reels with music from the Maine-based Old Grey Goose. According to their website, the group plays old-time dance tunes on a variety of acoustic instruments; sings songs of love, work, diversity and achievement from the vast repertoire of American folk history; and teaches and calls regional dances representing multicultural traditions. They tour internationally.
A potluck supper will precede the dance beginning at 5:30 p.m. The school is located at 145 Main St. in Sumner.
The free event is open to the community and sponsored by the Nezinscot Valley Music Boosters.
