- The 27th annual Ski-A-Thon to benefit Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation will be held Saturday, March 24, at Sunday River Ski Resort in Newry. More than 80 five-person teams are signed up. Above, “Taylor’s Tetherers” is led by Maine Adaptive participant Taylor Grant and includes volunteer instructors who guide Taylor’s skiing by tethering her sled. Anyone who raises $200 for Maine Adaptive will ski, eat and take part in free activities on Ski-A-Thon day. Learn more at www.maineadaptive.org.
