Benefit supper
MEXICO — A spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the Mexico Congregational Church, 163 Main St.
Dinner includes homemade biscuits, coleslaw and desserts. The cost is $7.
Proceeds will benefit local athlete Salena Sawtelle, a senior at Dirigo High School who will represent the state in the international games in track and field in July in Australia.
Class luncheon
MEXICO — The Stephens High School Class of 1954 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at the Covered Wagon. Classmates and guests are welcome.
Salmon pie lunches
RUMFORD — St. Barnabas Episcopal Church will hold its annual salmon pie lunches from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays, March 23 and 30. The menu will include salmon pie with egg sauce, vegetable, coleslaw, rolls, beverage and dessert.
The price is $8. Take-outs are available either by calling ahead to 364-2193 or by ordering at the door.
WOWS auction
RUMFORD — WOWS Widows or Widowers Sharing will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, March 23, at Rumford Senior Citizens Hall, 50 Congress St. There will be a Chinese auction and snacks will be provided.
