RUMFORD — Mountain Valley High School Vice Principal Christopher Decker has announced Students of the Term. The freshman recipient was Adelle Oswald. Andrew Boucher was chosen from the sophomore class. Junior Garrett Carver and senior Noah Tanguay-Collins rounded out the students honored.
They received a MVHS T-shirt and a gift certificate for a movie and popcorn.
Every six weeks, teachers at Mountain Valley High School select a student from each class to honor. Addressing the students, Decker said, “The qualifications for the award are you come to school, be respectful and give it your best shot.”
Students and staff applauded the award winners and their parents as they made their way to the stage.
