SABATTUS — Dale and Annette Giguere of Sabattus are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kristal Giguere, to Trevor Pettengill, son of Brody and Kimberly Pettengill of Leeds.

Miss Giguere is a 2006 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a 2011 graduate of Husson University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She is employed at North Country Associates as an occupational therapist.

Mr. Pettengill is a 2005 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2007 graduate of Northern Maine Community College with certificates in welding/metal fabrication and computer-aided drafting technology. He is employed at Downeast Machine and Engineering.

The wedding will be held on Oct. 6 at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
