FARMINGTON — Marcelle E. “Marcy” Libby, 82, died Tuesday, March 27, at the Franklin Memorial Hospital. She resided in Fayette for the past eight years with her daughter, Rosette.

She was born in Auburn, Aug. 13, 1929, a daughter of Mildred Libby. She was a graduate of Stratton High School. For 35 years, she worked in Nebraska, as a groom and stable hand with thoroughbred horses. She was a longtime volunteer for Franklin County Soil and Water.

Survivors include two daughters, Rosetta Thompson of Fayette and Gloria Sedlacek of Ames, Neb.; four sons, Robin Henderson and wife, Diane, of Steep Falls, Larry Henderson of Rumford, Kim Henderson and wife, Wendy, of Peru and James Henderson and wife, Nanette, of Rochester, N.H.; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Shawn; and a grandson, Shane.
