Easter service, dinner event
RUMFORD — Pastor David A. Willhoite of the Apostolic Church of Rumford will host a special Easter Service at 10 a.m. Easter Sunday, April 8. There will be a ham dinner and a major Easter egg hunt for children ages 3-12 after service. There will be gifts, prizes and Easter baskets for the kids. Isabella group to meet April 10
RUMFORD — St. Timothy Circle No. 504, Daughters of Isabella, will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at the Holy Savior Parish Hall.
Committee members are chairwomen Tracy Arsenault and Jackie Parent. Also on the committee are Ann Brewer, Ena Viens, Bertha Veilleux and Theresa Hodsdon.
Two new members are Michele Cushman and Roxanne Gorham.

Kathleen Barker benefit event
RUMFORD — A benefit supper and dance for Kathleen Barker will take place Saturday, April 14, at the Rumford American Legion. The supper will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 7. The dance is scheduled to run from 7 to 11 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Rokkin Rod’s DJ Service. A cash bar will be available. There will also be a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle.
The menu for the supper consists of spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread, a side of cole slaw and a dessert. Tickets for the supper and dance are $15. The dance only is $10 and the supper only is $7, $5 for children under 12.
