DIXFIELD — Three local men were arrested Monday night after police raided a party on North Street.
Police got a tip that there was a drinking party involving underage girls, according to police Chief Richard Pickett.
Jake T. Pomeroy, 23, of Child Hollow, was charged with furnishing a place for minors to drink alcohol and violation of conditions of release, the chief said. He was released from the Police Department on $1,000 unsecured bail.
Keith E. Gaudet, 22, of Highland Avenue, was charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol. He was released from the Police Department on $800 unsecured bail.
Matthew R. Carter, 22, of North Street, was charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol. He was booked at the Oxford County Jail in Paris and ordered not to have contact with Gaudet, Pomeroy and the four underage girls.
All are scheduled to appear in 11th District Court in Rumford on June 5.
Pickett said an anonymous call came to the Police Department at 6:07 p.m. stating an underage drinking party was going on at a North Street home. Pickett, Sgt. Jeff Howe and officer Anne Simmons-Edmunds responded to Carter’s house and made the arrests.
Pickett said the investigation is continuing and further charges may be brought against the four girls.
