What is the real meaning of “supply and demand,” which causes prices to go up? To me, it’s only an excuse to increase prices! Those who profit from certain holidays or events also use that phrase. . . . Youth sports programs are victims of such tactics since the demand is there for the equipment they need for the sport they’re involved in, and parents find it harder from year to year to keep their kids active. . . . Gas prices, as we all know, will increase with the slightest inconvenience or disruption that comes along. . . . The only way to stop some of these trends is to cut down on your spending. That will hit manufacturers and sellers in their pocketbook, like they keep digging in yours!

Exes! Why is it someone you’ve not seen in more than a handful of years hears from some mutual acquaintance that you’re well, happy, etc., and along comes the ex, sniffing around and attempting a reconciliation. Have some dignity! Stay gone!
