Finnish Cemetery group

WEST PARIS — The Finnish Cemetery Association meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Mission Congregational Church, Church Street. Reports will be given and election of officers held. All people having connections with the cemetery are urged to attend. New members are welcomed.

OTISFIELD — The Food Pantry will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 27, at East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, Rayville Road.

Spiritual healing session

HARTFORD — Spiritual healing will be the topic at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at Hartford Town Hall, 1190 Main St.

Energy healing is used in many traditional healing modalities – polarity therapy, reflexology, acupressure and Reiki, to name a few. Learn more about plugging into this energy source and practice channeling that energy to heal yourself and others. Topics discussed will include: intelligent cells and organs in the body; energy fields in and around the body; learning to connect with universal energy; self-healing; absent healing and laying on of hands.

St. Never’s Day sale needs items

BETHEL — The Bethel Historical Society’s annual St. Never’s Day Sale will take place on Saturday, May 26, and the society is seeking donations of furniture, household goods, dishes, tools, etc. in good condition. All proceeds from the sale benefit the society’s general operations.

The society requests no used computer equipment, tires, clothing, etc. Items in good condition may be dropped off at any time on the back porch of the society’s O’Neil Robinson House at 10 Broad St. or on Stan Howe’s side porch at 18 Broad St. To make arrangements to have items picked up, call the society at 824-2908 or 800-824-2910.

A limited number of rental tables for individuals or organizations will be available at $20 each and may be reserved by calling one of the numbers above. This year’s sale will be held under a large tent at the corner of Mason and Broad streets, rain or shine.
