- Donald Gossom, 84, of Farmington escaped injury Tuesday afternoon when his 2006 GMC Yukon Denali went into a ditch as he was leaving the driveway of Meadow Lanes Bowling Alley on routes 2 and 4 in East Wilton, Wilton police officer Matt Billian said. Collins Enterprise wrecker driver Alan Hubbell is shown taking information off the vehicle before towing it. Billian said NorthStar Emergency Medical Services personnel checked Gossom at the scene as a precaution and cleared him. It was an unreportable accident because there was less than $1,000 damage to the SUV, Billian said.
