The West Auburn School Historical Society board of directors met in February to elect Matthew Bennett at treasurer. Bennett is a CPA with Austin Associates of Auburn and resides in Sabattus. From right are president Steve Marsden, secretary Mary Buker, treasurer Matt Bennett and vice-president Dick Knight. The annual potluck supper and meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at the school. Persons interested in joining the board of directors are encouraged to attend. Plans to celebrate the 20 year anniversary will be discussed. The society will hold the annual yard and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4. Tables to rent will be $10 each.
