Two teams of second- and third-grade students from Elm Street School in Mechanic Falls have won the right to represent their state, school and community in the Destination Imagination Global competition taking place May 23-26 in Knoxville, Tenn.  A Community Day will be held from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, April 27, at school gym. There will be free food, carnival games, auction items, 50/50 raffle and other activities in an effort to raise approximately $20,000 to send the teams, team leaders and chaperons to the competition.
