WEYMOUTH, Mass. — Melody Brooke Gammon has earned a master’s degree of education-physical education and coaching with all honors, rights, privileges and obligations pertaining to that degree on Jan. 25.

Melody is a 2000 graduate of Oxford Hills comprehensive High School. She was the single team in gymnastics representing the school. She also participated in track and cross country.

Now, at the age of 29, she has begun to compete in gymnastics once again for USAIGC and after two meets, she has brought home several first places and two all-round medals.

Melody lives in Weymouth, Mass., and is a gymnastics coach at the Kathy Corrigan’s School of Gymnastics and at the Waltham, Mass. YMCA.

She is the daughter of Bonnie and Al Atkinson of South Paris and Edward Gammon Sr. of Bryant Pond.
