BOSTON — Ida Beatrice Rothschild, daughter of Catherine and Michael Rothschild of Troy Hill, Phillips, has graduated from Boston University as a Doctor of Philosophy, American and English Literature. Before graduate school, Ida attended Strong Elementary School, Mt. Abram High School and Wellesley College. She received her masters degree at Boston University. Her article, “Reframing Melville’s ‘Manifesto’: ‘Hawthorne and His Mosses’ and the Culture of Reprinting,” is forthcoming in the Cambridge Quarterly, Oxford University Press.
