On May 3, Carrabassett Valley Academy volunteered for an afternoon of golf course maintenance. Two bus-loads of CVA students and coaches were on hand to help Sugarloaf’s dedicated grounds crew rake, sweep and rid the fairways of debris. “It was a pleasure having the CVA students help with the course clean-up” said Bob Bruce, course superintendent. “It’s great to see our community in action, and my staff and I are extremely grateful for all of the work the kids put in.” Chloe Cochrane, left, and Helena Williams pause during the clean-up session.
