- The Kennebec Land Trust Outing Club will celebrate National Trails Day with a paddlers’ flotilla and a hike at the KLT’s Gott Pasture Preserve in Wayne on Saturday, June 2. Participants will meet at the Wilson/Dexter Pond causeway on the Mt. Pisgah Road at 10:30 a.m. and paddle to a boat landing at Gott Pasture. An optional nature walk with KLT staff member Justin Schlawin will depart from the boat landing. All small, nonmotorized craft are welcome. Participants should pack their own lunch.
