There have been two recently published letters to the editor that responded to my letter of May 26. They both quoted me as writing things I did not write.

It is frustrating to have information that was factual responded to with misinformation that misquotes my original letter. For instance, readers who responded to my letter, in which I stated that there is no mention of homosexuality in the Gospels, used examples not from the Gospels.

I did not say there is no mention of homosexuality in the Bible. I said in the “Gospels” — meaning that Jesus had nothing to say about homosexuality or same-sex relationships.
