WEST PARIS — Cody Kennison of West Paris is the 2011-12 recipient of the Central Maine Community College Aspire Higher scholarship. The Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School senior is able to take 15 credits of CMCC courses tuition free at the Western Maine College Center in South Paris.

Kennison’s career plans include building construction or diesel mechanics. He is also considering enlisting in the Army. He studied building construction during his sophomore year at the Oxford Hills Technical Center and forestry his junior year. As a senior he is in cooperative education which prepares students for on-the-job training.
