ALAMOGORDO, N.M. — Nedra Elayne Richmond, 72, of Alamogordo, N.M., died June 9, at Wilson Avenue, at home with family by her side.
She was born in Rangeley, Jan. 18, 1940, to Lee and Olive (Dunham) Violette.
She enjoyed crocheting until she was not able to anymore, crossword puzzles, reading and playing cards.
She was a specialist in the Health Insurance Field.
Survived by son, John Richmond and his wife, Cathy, of Alamogordo, N.M.; daughters, Juli Mason and her husband, Mike, of Farmington, Rebecca Bunch of Summerville, S.C., and her husband, Brian and Debra Gosselin and her husband, Ron, of Summerville, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Carl Curtis Richmond; several brothers and sisters; and their special cat, Baby.
There are no services planned at this time.
She was known to each and everyone she touched as, MOM.
