SUMNER — Preparations are underway for the beginning of the Summer Church season at the West Sumner Universalist Society, Main Street, Route 219, about a half-mile from Pleasant Pond.
Marilyn Hammond will open with a service of Universalist Communion at 11 a.m. July 8. The service will contain historical notes, an occasion for the remembrance of Jesus’ life and teachings.
