- At a Welcome Bullrock party in Dixfield on Thursday, former Selectman Norine Clarke, center, shares the history of Bullrock, the town’s 9-foot, 1,500-pound carved wooden moose mascot. It stands on a pedestal at the Village Green entrance beside Route 2. The popular tourist attraction was carved from pressure-treated wood by chain saw artist Ted Walker of Rumford.
