- A crew laying 900 feet of sewer line extension from Dixfield into neighboring Mexico watch Thursday morning as an excavator operator moves a pre-cast concrete pipe section into place at the intersection of U.S. Route 2 and Leavitt Street in Mexico. Old sewer piping is being replaced in the extension project from the Blue Moose store to the Peru bridge over the Androscoggin River.
