FARMINGTON — The Farmington Elks will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at the lodge, 120 School St.

Cary Library silent auction
WAYNE — Cary Memorial Library will hold a silent auction from Saturday, July 28, through noon on Saturday, Aug. 11.
Auction items include a 14-foot sailboat with trailer, quilts, leather goods, a hand crafted drop-leaf table, a toboggan, paintings, photographs, an iPod Touch, lots of hand crafted jewelry, vintage furniture and more.
The library is just off Route 133 at 17 Old Winthop Road. The auction is being held at the library’s new property across the street, The Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road. The auction will be open during regular library hours beginning July 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Other Wayne events taking place during the auction dates are the annual lobster roll lunch, the 5K Walk/Run, the Dawna Gardner book signing and the Farmer’s Market on Saturday, Aug. 4. A poetry evening will be held Friday, Aug. 10.
Prime rib, lobster dinner
VIENNA — A dinner of lobster or prime rib will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, as a building fundraiser for North Vienna United Methodist Church, 572 Tower Road.
Seatings will be at 5 and 6:30 p.m. Cost for a single lobster dinner is $20, twin lobster dinner, $25, prime rib dinner, $20. Tickets will be sold in advance only, available until Aug. 7.

Wilton Academy 1957 reunion
