LEWISTON — Vickie Cook, 59, of Phillips went to be with her sister in heaven on July 17. She was surrounded by her husband and loving family after battling a long illness.
She was born Sept. 18, 1952, the daughter of Roy and Arlene Haines. She married her teenage love, Everett Cook from Strong, Jan. 11, 1969. Together they raised two children. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her life.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Everett Cook; her daughter, Michelle Fournier and her fiancé, Ronald Hobson, of Phillips; her son, Kevin Cook of Phillips; her sister, Betty Reynolds; her brother-in-law, Lewis Richard; her sister-in-law/best friend, Simone Brewer and family; her longtime friend/brother, Terry Haines and his wife, Stacy, of Phillips; and her longtime friend of many years, Sandy Haines of Strong; her grandchildren, Keshia Fournier, Autumn Fournier, Dexter Cook and Owen Cook, all of Phillips, Katherine Grant of Benton, Jennifer Pacheco of Ludlow, Mass.; as well as many, many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister/mom, Joanne Richard; her mother, Arlene Haines; her father, Roy Haines; her sister, Judy White; her great-niece, Tia Brackett; and her son-in-law, Donny Fournier.
