OTISFIELD — Travis Waugh, 32, of Otisfield, and his two daughters were not hurt in a Saturday afternoon crash, police said.

Waugh was driving northbound on Route 121 near the Casco line at about 4:25 p.m. when his truck encountered a mechanical problem and veered off the road, hitting bushes and trees before colliding with a utility pole, Maine State Police Trooper Jason Wing said.

Waugh’s 1998 Mazda pickup was likely a total loss, Wing said.
