Nashville country singer Mike Preston will be a special guest performer Sunday, July 29, at Countryfolk Music Theatre in East Dixfield when about 25 local artists come together to play country and bluegrass music. Preston, originally from Lymington, has performed his down-home style of country music for more than 20  years in Nashville, Texas, New York City and on the road. He has played with country legend George Jones and Maine’s own Dick Curless. Countryfolk’s family-oriented shows are free. Any donations support Countryfolk’s youth music scholarships. On Saturday, July 28, Seminole Wind will provide music for a Countryfolk barn dance from 7 to 10 p.m.
