AUBURN — Eight stand-up comedians will bring the laughs for a good cause in “Comedy Fix,” a fundraiser for the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing, on Friday, Aug. 10, at the Auburn Fireside Inn.
Chris Choate, Cornelius Tyson, Dee Turcotte, Hope Armstrong Rogers, Joe Meuse, Lucas O’Neil, Mark Turcotte and Smith Galtney are scheduled to perform.
Many of the show’s comics have performed at the Comedy Connection and Local Laughs in Portland.
“We’re excited to bring a show like this to the Lewiston-Auburn area,” event organizer Mark Turcotte said. “Each comic brings a unique style and perspective, and it’s a great way to treat yourself to a fun evening while supporting a worthy cause.”
The show, open to ages 21 and older, will begin at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. All attendees will be eligible to win door prizes, including Dempsey Challenge merchandise and gift certificates to area restaurants.
