LEWISTON — The Holy Cross Knights of Columbus Council 12,652 recently held its end of the year banquet with the Ladies Auxiliary and awarded Claude Mailhot the Knight of the Year Award for the 2011-12 Fraternal Year.
Mailhot currently serves as the council’s treasurer and the faithful purser for the fourth degree assembly. He is also very involved with various programs the Prince of Peace Parish offers.
The Family of the Year Award was presented to Daniel and Melissa Leclair. Mr. Leclair is currently serving as Grand Knight for the Council. He and Melissa are the coordinators for the Thanksgiving Food Basket Project and Christmas Giving Tree Project at Holy Cross Church.
Both awards were presented by the council’s Family Activities Director Larry Thibault.
