FAYETTE — The Board of Selectmen will hold a special meeting at  7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at the Fayette Central School.

During the meeting, the board will award the contract for constructing an addition to the school, Town Manager Mark Robinson said.

The proposed 18- by 24-foot addition will house the school’s new wood pellet boiler, he said. The addition is planned on the Main Street/Route 27 side of the school.
