- Joan Underkuffler tried out a new granite bench in front of the Farmington post office Tuesday. It was donated by the Farmington Downtown Association, said Town Manager Richard Davis, chairman of the assocation’s beautification committee. Wiles Remembrance Center offered the bench at reduced cost and donated another, which is placed under the large pine tree on upper Broadway. The committee will consider placing others in suitable spots if businesses want to sponsor them, he said.
