WALES — Lakeside Chapter, OES, 322 Centre Road, will host Pioneer and Pine Cone Chapters at a potluck meal on Tuesday, Aug. 14. The supper, donated by chapter cooks, will be served at 6 p.m.

Lakeside is responsible for the main dish, with Pioneer providing the salads and Pine Cone providing the desserts.

Donations will be $3 and the proceeds will go to the Eastern Star Training and Religious Leadership Scholarships, given to students who have completed their second year of study in religious studies successfully.

Funds raised will be divided among the three chapters and donated to the Grand Chapter of Maine Order of the Eastern Star’s ESTARL Fund. Last year the state chapters raised in excess of $23,000.

Bernald W. Tufts, associate grand patron, will speak on the ESTARL program at the 7 p.m. meeting and veterans and masonic members will be honored during the session.

Officers are reminded that women should wear colored gowns and men dark suits or tuxes.
