FAIRFIELD (AP) — A 75-year-old Waterville woman involved in a car crash last month in Fairfield has died.
Anne Gagnon’s daughter, Carol, told the Kennebec Journal that her mother was pronounced dead Sunday.
Police saidAnne Gagnon drove into the path of a truck on July 26 at the Nye’s Corner intersection. They said she stopped at the intersection before pulling out. The truck driver also needed treatment at the hospital.
Police said her injuries were not life threatening. But her daughter said Gagnon broke her neck in three places, and her family chose to withdraw life support Sunday after complications arose from surgery.
