I support Angus King’s bid for the U.S. Senate. As a small business person for 30 years, I know with certainty that he was the most business friendly and entrepreneurial governor. He organized small business conferences that were so valuable for the thousands of people who attended. The networking opportunities alone were a boon for so many isolated business people from across the state.
He led delegations of business people on trade missions to other countries, opening up many new markets for Maine products and services.
His “Plus 1” campaign was a wonderful recognition for adding jobs to the Maine economy.
King has many fresh ideas and will convince a few senators who are tired of the partisan mess Congress has become.
I believe Angus King is the perfect candidate to represent the common sense and hard-working people of Maine. In Washington, D.C., he will make a difference.
