- Five contestants were entered in the Wee-Man contest for ages 8 to 12 recently at the Waterford World’s Fair. Winners were: first, Jackson Fitts, South Paris; second, Cassandria McAlister, Buckfield; third, Silvian Sweetser, Greenwood; fourth, Shyene Sweetser, Greenwood; and fifth, James Littlefield, Albany. Event organizer Jeff Winslow said everyone was given a free ice cream cone and the first-place winner received a blue ribbon rosette.
