- A dead tree fell on utility lines on Crockett Ridge Road on Thursday, cutting power in the area. Firefighters responded at around 2 p.m. and Central Maine Power employees arrived soon after. Assistant Chief Jim Tibbetts of the Norway Fire Department said the tree was removed and power restored after about an hour.
