WILTON — The Hyssongs, an award-winning trio with consistent Top 40 songs on radio charts, will perform Sunday, Aug. 26,  at the East Wilton Union Church.

The free outdoor concert is part of the church’s 2012 Concerts on the Lawn series.

The Hyssongs travel full-time sharing the gospel through music. Dell, Susan, & Richard Hyssong are known for their family vocal harmony, lively energetic style, humor and brass instruments (trumpet and trombone).

They perform more than 250 times each year in churches and auditoriums, and on gospel cruises, television and radio. During the last two years, they sang more than 12 times at Dollywood. In 2010, they traveled to El Salvador with Compassion International.

The Hyssongs record on the Sanctuary label at the Chapel Valley Studio in Sharps Chapel, Tenn.

The 6 p.m. concert is free; there will be a free-will offering. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. If it rains, the concert will be moved inside the Main Street church. A time of food and fellowship will follow the performance. For more information, call 645-4297.
