LEEDS — The Leeds Democratic Committee will hold a candidate meet and greet event from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at the home of former state Sen. John Nutting and Sandy Nutting, 79 Campbell Road.

Colleen Quint, D-Minot, seeking the Senate District 17 seat, and Maurice Castonguay, D-Livermore, seeking the House District 81 seat, will be there.

The public is invited to learn more about the candidates. Families are welcome to enjoy the Nuttings’ farm, which will include a petting zoo for children that day.
