Pertaining to the Senate race for District 17, I am familiar with both the Democratic candidate, Colleen Quint, and the present senator, Garrett Mason.
From personal knowledge, Mason is the better candidate for the position.
I have attended several sessions of the Senate and even attended some working meetings of various committees, and found Mason well-informed on the needs of the people he represents. He is very appreciative of constituents’ comments and ideas.
I found him very receptive to me and my family and, when I visited the Senate chambers, he was appreciative of our visit and made us feel at home with other members.
Therefore, I consider Garrett Mason to be the better candidate for the Senate.
