DIXFIELD — The American Legion Post 100 will hold an American flag burning ceremony at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at the Legion Hall, 23 Main St.

If anyone has an American flag that is tattered and worn and needs proper disposal, they are invited to bring it to the ceremony. All citizens are welcome.

For those who cannot attend the ceremony, flags may be left at the Dixfield town office and will be delivered to the Legion Hall.
