TURNER — The Land O’Lakes Foundation, in conjunction with Moark LLC, has provided a $5,000 donation to The Nezinscot Guild to assist in the nonprofit’s roof replacement project. Moark is a subsidiary of Minnesota-based Land O’Lakes Inc.
The Nezinscot Guild provides employment in integrated work settings for individuals with physical, developmental and autistic disabilities. The employees manufacture quality wood products and perform repackaging services for industry.
Nezinscot Guild is located at 9 Conant Road.
Last year, Moark announced an agreement to take over the assets and operations of egg farms in Turner, Leeds and Winthrop, including the former DeCoster egg farm, as well as Quality Egg of New England LLC, Dorothy Egg Farm LLC and Mountain Hollow Farms LLC.
