WILTON — Teachers Lounge Mafia is poised to deliver an evening of mature-content improv comedy on Saturday, Sept. 15, at Calzolaio Pasta Co.

Besides audience-interactive games like those on the “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?” TV show, Teachers Lounge Mafia offers custom-built comedic storytelling in its own unique way. No two shows are alike.

“One of the best parts of performing at Calzolaio is the intimacy of the room,” TLM performer Dan Ryder said. “The energy from the audience makes all the difference. It’s a great place for comedy.”

Based in western Maine, Teachers Lounge Mafia performs throughout New England. Most recently, the improv troupe appeared alongside Northeast improv comedy teams from New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New Hampshire as part of the 14-team, four-day Portland Improv Festival. For more about the group, visit www.teachersloungemafiaimprov.com.

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5, with limited seating. Beverage and food menus available. For reservations, call 645-9500 or email teachersloungemafiaimprov@gmail.com.
