TURNER — Maine Senate President Kevin Raye, joined by local farmers and small business owners, will hold a news event at Ricker Hill Farms at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, to discuss crucial issues facing Maine’s farming community and small businesses.

Raye is the Republican nominee for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District seat. Ricker Hill Orchards, 341 Buckfield Road, is an eighth-generation family farm and has been growing apples since 1803.
