BeastFeast is Sept. 22
WINTHROP — The annual “BeastFeast Maine” Sportsmens’s Banquet will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the More to Life Campground. The event is a men-only event, and is free.
It will include several speakers, music, a dinner with wild game, including bear, salmon, turkey, rabbit, alligator, smoked pig, and venison, and other food. The invitation extends to men of all ages and boys of at least 10 years of age, with parent or legal guardian.
There will be a raffle for a new Bear Creek 12-foot “cubby” canoe, a whitewater rafting trip and other prizes.
Beast Feast Maine, Inc., in association with Bull Moose Community Outreach, a Maine nonprofit men’s Christian outreach organization, were developed to gather and unite like minded sportsmen for fellowship in the Word of God in a non-church environment, to promote safe and ethical sportsmanlike behavior in the fields and on the waters and to act as good stewards of natural resources. The group provides legally harvested or legally purchased wild game. When not working on wild game dinners, group members are actively providing resources to those in need of food assistance by providing community outreach meals.
